89th And Broke

I'm a young professional living in Astoria (formerly of Williamsburg, the UES and Murray Hill - I move a lot!). I'm always looking for something fun to do or the best place to grab a drink and dinner at an affordable price around the city. Have a suggestion? Email me at Laura AT 89thandbroke DOT com.

Giveaway! Family Play (1979 to Present)

CollaborationTown will present the world premiere of Family Play (1979 To Present), April 28 – May 16, opening May 1.  The show will be performed downtown at 154 Christopher Street and is about children of the 80’s who dig through three decades of their lives in a fast-paced, unsentimental memory play (children of the 80s? I can relate!).

The show is produced by CollaborationTown, written and created by Geoffrey Decas O’Donnell, Boo Killebrew and Jordan Seavey, co-created with Lee Sunday Evans and TJ Witham, and directed by Lee Sunday Evans.

Tickets for the show start at $18 (what an affordable night out!) or you can win a pair here on 89thandbroke.com. If you are an email subscriber, please visit our website to fill out the entry form.
